Master's Degree in Legal Science

The Master's Degree Program in Legal Science was established in 1995 and combines tradition and innovation. It brings together Emeritus Professors with a long history in research and teaching of law and presents itself as a necessary continuance of the successful Law School of UNIVALI, with over 50 years of existence.  In addition, it shows a strong scientific production, always attentive to changes in the State, in the Production and Application of Law, and in movements that go beyond national borders.

Univali's Master’s Degree in Legal Science, nationally recommended by CAPES (grade 6), provides for an area of concentration called Fundamentals of Positive Law and is supported by three Lines of Research:

1 Constitutionalism and Production of Law

2 Law, Jurisdiction, and Artificial Intelligence

2 Environmental Law, Transnationality and Sustainability

Univali's Graduate Program in Legal Science aims to contribute to the enrichment of research and the increasing and qualitative development of activities aimed at teaching and the critical analysis of the Fundamentals of Positive Law. It promotes, therefore, the training for the legal teaching and the training of researchers in Research Groups always linked to the lines of research and the area of concentration.

The new students of the Master's Degree Course must have a law degree and be approved in the selection process.
